Thought Id do a quick update on our little Wells for those of you that don't follow both of our Facebook random posts. Well its official. We don't have a baby anymore. Wellington is now 1 year and 5 months old. It has been so much fun watching him grow.
He isnt a shy kid at all.. that may come later, but he can be held by anyone and be perfectly happy. Pretty sure that comes from Becca taking him to the salon and letting all the girls take turns spoiling him.
He loves parks and anything he's not supposed to have. He doesn't climb on the table any more or get on the toilet and turn on the faucet, but still finds new things he shouldn't do... like throw things out the door the second it opens. (weird kid)
One thing we have noticed is that he is very observant. We first noticed this when he started kissing us before we taught him how Mom and Dad kiss him a lot. ( and each other) but just recently he has been doing even stranger things. I spilled some water on the kitchen floor last week and he went over to the drawer where the towels were and started rubbing the towel on the floor. He is such a good helper. He also brings us all the pillows when we are making the bed and and puts every utensil he can find in the dishwasher.
He also likes getting dressed for some reason. likes to have you put his shoes on, or tries to put on his own sweater.
He also has been expanding his vocabulary.. although not the words most wold use.
ni ni = blankie
mmmm = food he wants (mom taught him that)
MaMa DaDa
Hi and Bye to everyone he meets
dreeeeee = drink
And he can turn on your iPhone/ipad and slide to unlock
no surprise there
