easter!

 this easter was so much fun!  seeing the look on wellingtons face with every little first just made my week.  he died eggs for the first time.  when we put the egg in he started balling because it got wet, but then he couldnt get enough of it and kept dunking the eggs (over and over again).

 then adams parents came to visit, and as adam was explaining how DI was going to be hiding a huge blue egg in their store with a $10 gift card, him and his dad thought up of this wonderful idea...

 they were going to plant these fake decoy eggs in the store, so that people would get distracted long enough for them to win.. and it worked!  haha.. like father like son.  them and their crazy ideas.  we had so much fun having them down.  its weird not living by them anymore, we sure do miss all of our family in utah!

 adams family has a cute way of hiding eggs.  they place grass and a candy by the egg.  the first year i saw this i loved it, and now its our tradition too.

 wellington loved having his first egg hunt at home.  we already went to one in a park (where he ended up running around all excited for the first few minutes, and putting eggs in other peoples baskets).. so by the time we were home, he was pro!

we had easter dinner with mark and erins side of the family and they put on such a fun egg hunt, games and dinner for us.  i was so wrapped up in all the fun that this was the only shot we took!  i thought it was so cute that wellington sat at his first kiddy table for dinner.  seeing him sitting there with all of the other kids made me realize how big he has gotten.  thank goodness we are having another one come september 23rd.  they grow up way too fast!

this was taken 2 weeks ago (i think i was 13 weeks along).. and already showing.  yikes.  and thats the update on us!  we are really loving colorado now and have made a lot of friends already (ok well i have, adam just becomes friends with all of the people that i invite over.. haha).  and i am honestly loving being home!  i have my hard days, but then all of a sudden wellington will come up and kiss me or smile and jump up and down over some random thing we are doing and it makes my heart melt.
