5 years!

I cant believe we have been married for 5 years already!  I couldnt have chosen a better man to spend forever with.  He is always so thoughtful and SNEAKY.  He planned a nights get away for just the two of us.  As always Adam out did himself... he took me up to Park City to this amazing place- Waldorf Astoria.  It was GORGEOUS!

If anyone watches the Bachelor like i do.. this is where they stayed last season when they visited Utah.   We had fun swimming in the pool..

this was our living room/dinning room

the room even had a kitchen!!!  and the whole place was bigger than our apartment..
this was our bedroom
 deck

and they had 2 bathrooms.. one had a tv in it.. you bet i took a bath, drank sparkling cider and watched tv at the same time just because i could!

then we went out to eat at this crazy fancy restaurant that was attached to the hotel
that watermelon salad was not what i was expecting.. but it was fun to try.  In other words it was nasty.
 adam had game hen!

and i had steak.. my favorite
during night time they brought out complementary smores and we got to roast them over this huge fire pit right off the pool.  i think that was one of my favorite surprises.  we just stumbled passed people doing that after we swam.

the next day we went to the farmers market in down town.  all in all our stay was so much fun and just what we needed to get away!  it was practically my first full nights sleep ive gotten in a year (i didnt have to worry about waking up with wellington- thanks Amy and Greg for taking care of our little guy).  We had the best time!  Even though we are poor college students, staying at a nice place for a night and eating like we dont care that our drink cost $7.50 is what i look forward to each anniversary!  Now that i am back home im going to go back to my normal life of clipping coupons with the taste of that juicy steak fresh in my memory.  Thanks Adam for all the great moments and laughs- may we have many more to come!

"took a bath, drank sparkling cider and watched tv at the same time just because i could!" That's my favorite part of the whole story.

Awesome guys! Good for you! Game hen. That's hilarious. Sounds like something Robert Goulet would order.
