food facials

I love cosmetology school... seriously! We do the funniest things to ourselves and the funnest things to others... we have washed our hair in beer (it adds amazing protein and shine to your hair.. but it smells horrible), we have done fashion shows, gone to senior centers (where we always get hit on.. and some how i get asked out to go dancing every time), and we have done free updos for activity days groups. We have met so many amazing people, who oddly open up and tell me their life stories. The other day I gave this lady a haircut, and she seamed so sad... and she ended up telling me that she just turned 50 and that she hasnt been feeling so good about herself... and by the time i was done with the cut and style she was glowing. I love making people feel special... it makes me feel special. I love coming in and knowing that I will come home with a funny story to tell my husband. I am so glad that I am doing this for myself. The end. Oh, PS.. I met one of the COSMOS for BYU!!!! (i wasnt suppose to tell anyone.. but i cant help myself)
this is a hot towel wrap... it is the most amazing thing in the world.

the best food facial recipe was the first one that i did... it is baking soda and water... cleans out your pores and makes them smaller, while also tightening your face.

On a different note, I am very excited about the next post i will be doing... adam and i went shopping for something last night. The only hint I am giving is that my mother and father in law will be just as excited about this new thing as we are!!!

I'm so glad you're loving school! Sounds like tons of fun!

P.S. I'll have to try that baking soda thing--what's the ratio of water to soda?

i cant remember what the ratio is... do a table spoon of baking soda, then add a little bit of water until its a consistency of mud, you dont want it too runny so that it wont drip off your face.
