3 years already?!

We went to see eclipse... and it was AMAZING!!! this is my "pure joy" face... i couldnt believe that we were able to get tickets for the movie premier at 9pm instead of midnight! my friend won them, and she said that she'd give them to me, in exchange for a wedding present... and i said done!

adam was ok with it too.. because he just didnt want to watch it at 12am,-2am the day of our anniversary because he had plans....

for this! a gorgeous Austrian themed hotel in Deer Valley

we were able to walk around and marvel at the wild life and great views.

practically no one was there, because its summer... but it was so pretty and great to get away

our key weighed like 5 pounds... no joke

and our room was so adorable... you cant see it in the pictures, but all the little details were so fun

the doors were all antique with large handles.. im guessing adam was struggling to open the door in this picture.

the bed was comfy...

the strawberries were delicious!

but my favorite part was that they carried Aveda shampoo, body wash and lotion... now ill actually USE the shampoo stuff i steal! (i even took some from the bathroom that was in the hot tub area later that night.)

The Place we stayed at had a restaurant on the main floor (4 diamond rating best in Utah!)

then i found out that we were seriously... the ONLY guests in the hotel since they just re-opened for the summer

so dinner was fantastic, but kinda weird that everyone was waiting on just us...

adam was adventurous and tried duck! he loved it!

i had salmon.. and who knows whats underneath it.. i couldnt understand anything on the menu, but it all complemented each other so well.

for dessert adam had a "fried donut"??

and i had apple pie?

then there was breakfast.. yum.

The next morning we went to the SLC temple and experienced our first live session. After that we went shopping! We have been saving our tip money for a few months, and it was great to be able to save for something fun, we usually just blow it all on In-N-Out and ice cream.

Adam and i had so much fun being able to just relax and enjoy each others company. we also had a lot of fun trying to hide the fact that we were taking pictures of everything that we ate! It was definitely a night to remember. I love how much thought he put into everything. I know that i can always count on him to just dazzle me. He is always full of surprises... and i am grateful to spend each and every day with him... I loved this years anniversary, and i look forward to the MANY more to come.
