trying to catch up!

thanksgiving! i know it happened a month ago.. but thats what happens when you have school 9 hours a day mon-fri then work EVERY single weekend. so here are some wonderful pictures of what we did on thanksgiving... we ate and took naps. we had so much fun being able to be with family. we spent it with mom and dad, grandma and aunt pam and uncle richard and all of their kids. thank you for all the good food mom!

now on to christmas coming up in a week! we are ridding with norm and kathleen out to ca tonight! we are going to be at my parents house, and will have fun going to sam and megans wedding! i am getting so excited to see all of my family, i have already balled my eyes out just by thinking about seeing them. my dad is now stage 4 of cancer (the worst stage and most dangerous) it means that the cancer has spread throughout his blood stream. he started chemo 2 weeks ago and from what i hear he has already lost a bit of weight, and his hair is thinning and his skin has a yellow tint to it. however with all of the heart ache that my family has been going through, we have been just focusing on the positive, because since the chemo, the amount of cells with cancer so to speak, has gone from a 14 to a 12, and the lower the better! its hard to explain everything, but the important thing is that we have faith that he is getting better, and we are so thankful for the doctors and for all of the prayers and fasting that has helped my dad and family.

this christmas is a huge deal to me, i dont know when i will see my family all together again like this. my mom is so excited to stuff everyone full of food, my dad is ready to make his lame jokes that i love, and my siblings are ready to catch me up on all of the stories. we are going to take a family picture, which we havnt done with everyone since i was twelve. so i will post a lot when i get back! i hope that we all will just soak in the good memories this christmas, and not worry about the little things!
