Mothers Day
So mothers day is coming up and with every sweet commercial i am reminded of how much i really love my mom. As i was rushing to the fridge to eat her tuna pasta i made, i was thinking of how much i really miss her! As all recipes go, the person who gave it to you always makes it better (or at least that's how i always feel). I miss hearing her laugh, her expressions as she tells me stories, and watching her cook. I am so glad that i had a stay at home mommy growing up. I am grateful for all the time that she put into loving and nurturing me and for all of the sacrifices she made for our family. I know that there are times when I just don't feel like cooking or cleaning for my husband, and i couldn't imagine taking care of five kids on top of that. I hope to some day be just as amazing as she is. And even though we are a few states apart, I want her to know that I am thinking of her and miss her like crazy, especially on this mothers day. I love you mom.

What a sweet thing to say. You don't have to worry about being an amazing mom. Just look what you do for the girls that you babysit for. You have it in you to be awesome.
I'm reading Dr. Laura's new book "In Praise of Stay-At-Home Moms" and it makes me feel so thankful for MY stay-at-home mom and it makes me proud to be a stay-at-home mom. There's nothing like it! After my career to mommihood, it's laughable that women give up being a mom for their careers. You'll be a great stay-at-home mommy, Becca. You've got a great husband who'll support you in that, too! Go Coughran men!
