I am happy to say that Lili (our cat) and Gretchen (our parents cat) are now the best of friends. It took a while for Gretchen to even let anyone be near her. But now they do everything together- eat, sleep, look out the window, sleep some more, jump on each other and sometimes Lili even gets away with licking her! That is true love.
